Our company was founded to process post-consumer plastics from curbside recycling programs. At first, we specialized in grinding HDPE and baling PET for sale to domestic polyester fiber manufacturers. But as the demand for post-consumer recycled plastics increased, we expanded by adding a wash line and offering clean and dry HDPE flake. We added a second facility in 2002 to meet the growing demand for washed HDPE flake.

In February of 2008, we expanded into our current facility in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This streamlined our production and allowed for all manufacturing to take place at one site. As our clients will attest, our new facility has greatly improved our efficiency and overall production capacity.

PRS has come a long way since its inception almost 20 years ago. With monthly production capacities in excess of three million pounds, we are now one of the largest plastic recycling companies in the Midwest. We supply resin to customers across a wide range of industries, and we buy baled HDPE from across the United States and Canada.

But in spite of our growth, we haven’t lost our customer focus. We can handle everything from large-volume orders or less-than-truck-load quantities. We also offer consulting services. And unlike some other processors, we believe that attention to detail and quality are paramount to the customer experience.
